The International Conference on Exploiting the Soil Microbiome for Agricultural Sustainability held at NAU

October 27-30, the 2014 International Conference on Exploiting the Soil Microbiome for Agricultural Sustainability was held in Jinling Academy Lecture Hall at NAU. Over 200 experts and scholars and students from over 10 countries, including United States, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and China, participated in the conference and discussed the frontier issues and innovative concepts of the soil microbiome for agricultural sustainability.

Participants had a heated discussion on “exploiting the soil microbiome for agricultural sustainability”. More than 20 well-known experts from both home and abroad delivered presentations on various sub-topics, including the structure and function of soil microbiome, the interaction of rhizosphere microorganisms and rhizospheric process, and the application prospect of bioinformatics in soil omics.
