Nanjing Agricultural University Made Her Debut in THE World University Rankings

China Agricultural University and Nanjing Agricultural University turn out to be the only two agricultural and forestry universities in China that have their name presented in 2016-2017 The World University Rankings released by Times Higher Education recently, 52 universities in mainland China out of 980 from 79 different countries are included in this rank list. NAU stands between the 601st to the 800th, ranking the 29th among the selected universities in mainland China. It is also the first time for NAU to get into the list.

THE World University Ranking is regarded as one of highly-recognized university rankings in the world. Joined by QS, Times Higher Education issued THE-QS World University Rankings in 2004 and set out to announce its own one, THE World University Rankings which has its related data collected from Scopus run by Elsevier. Teaching environment (30%), Scientific research capacity (30%), citation influence (30%), internationalization (7.5%) and industrial income (2.5%), these 5 first-grade indicators, along with 13 second-grade indicators, are included in assessment indexes for this ranking.
