The 5th Chinese Proficiency Preliminary Competition for Foreign Students in Jiangsu held at NAU

The 5th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Preliminary Competition for Foreign Students in Jiangsu Province, cosponsored by CCTV4 and the office of Chinese Langue Council (Confucius Institute), was hosted by Nanjing Agricultural University on May 13th, 2012. Nineteen international students from Nanjing University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou University, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology took part in the competition. After the fierce competition, SHI JUNSHAN (Canada) from Nanjing University, NGUYEN THE LUONG (Vietnam) from Nanjing Agricultural University and NGOH SAMUEL AZISEH (Cameroon) from Nanjing Agricultural University came out on top and obtained the pass for the final in Beijing.

Living up to the expectation of all the teachers and leaders, NGOH SAMUEL AZISEH and NGUYEN THE LUONG from College of International Education, Nanjing Agricultural University, pushed their way to the final. They extended the gratitude to the teachers who gave them sincere and patient guidance, and hoped to win in the final held in Beijing in August.

Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Students in China is aimed to provide a platform on Chinese language study for foreign students. The preliminary competition consists of two parts, written exam and interview. The interview was composed of self-introduction, talent show and answering questions. The program will be broadcasted to the worldwide in CCTV International Channel.
