On behalf of NAU, Sheng Bangyue first introduced the university’s development and invited Xu Ruojun and his wife to come back for a visit on the third weekend of October, which will be the “Alumni Return Day”.
Xu Ruojun shared his fond memories of life at NAU and extended his gratitude to NAU for the education. He also expressed hope that the donation will help the students of NAU pursue lofty goals.
Xu Ruojun and his wife Zhang Shuhua will donate HKD 1.2 million to create a scholarship in memory of his wife’s mother, Liu Yifang, who was once an enthusiastic dedicated teacher. The scholarship will be used to provide aid and recognize financially struggling but academically remarkable undergraduates from the College of Animal Science and Technology and the College of Prataculture.
