Dr. Shahid Siddique is an assistant professor in the Department of Molecular Phytomedicine, Faculty of Agriculture,Bonn University,Germany. He has years of experience working on molecular aspects of plant-nematode interaction and mainly focuses on the recognition of plant signals and signal pathway by nematodes, the effect of NADPH oxidase on interaction between plant and nematodes, the diffusion obstacle of plant root nutritional efficiency, the causes oftolerance for adversity stress and so on. He has published more than 40 research papers in journals such as PNAS, PLOS Pathogens, New Phytologist, Science Signaling, Plant Physiology, Plant Journal, Journal of Experimental Botany and Molecular Plant Pathology. He is also the peer reviewers for more than 10 journals in the field of Plant diseases.
